DON JUAN URQUIJO 20° ANIVERSARIO
In 1995, the legendary Cuban cigar master,
Señor Alfredo Salinas, joined Tabacalera, perfectly combining then state-of-the-art Cuban rolling techniques
with the traditional craftsmanship
of the early 20th century.
The rollers who worked alongside
him have now grown into senior artisans with more than 30 years of experience in the factory.
To honor his great legacy,
Tabacalera created a special tribute series by selecting Philippine Cuban-seed tobacco harvested in 1995
together with Dominican long filler. This is Don Juan Urquijo 20º Aniversario.
Crafted as a light-bodied blend, this cigar rests on creaminess and malty notes,
adding delicate nuances of sweet honey and citrus.
It also offers a remarkable aroma where nutmeg and cinnamon mingle
within the buttery smoke that has symbolized DJU for more than two decades.
